The Bush House Webcam

We have often wondered what animals come down to drink at our waterhole during the night. Whilst it is impossible to sit there ourselves, we thought a camera could do it for us! We know that our waterhole is very popular, so we put it to the test!

Sadly we don’t have sufficient band-width for guests to log on and view in real time, but we monitor the night footage on a regular basis, and keep records of who our visitors have been.

As these are mostly night shots taken in night vision mode, they are grainy, but give a good idea of the visiting animals.

We were fortunate enough to have ALL of the BIG 5 visit within a 24 hour period, all on New Year’s Eve. (see below)
