The Bush House Webcam - 2009 – ELEPHANTS
1st December, 20h10 – Eles and buffalo sharing the waterhole.
26th
November, 23h27 – small herd visiting
8th September, 18h15 – one of the smallest calves we have had
the pleasure to see recently.
6th September, 21h59 – happiness is a full waterhole!
12th August, 21h05 – really up close and personal!
7th August, 19h37 – bull Elephant in front of the waterhole.
6th August, 20h57 – major herd visits for a drink.
6th August, 18h03 – young bull passes in front of the waterhole.
8th July, 01h56 – Elephant cow to the left of the pic is upset
with something in the bush.
2nd April, 18h29 – large herd enjoying a drink.
2nd April, 21h58 – all ages and sizes, and all “squashed
up” in a small area of the waterhole.
12th May, 02h43 – Large bull Elephant, all on his own.
19th May, 20h38 – another large bull on his own.
1st May, 19h37 – breeding herd unhappy about movement in the bush,
while the bull just carries on drinking!
1st May, 20h00 – with the Elephant breeding herd having moved
off, the bull keeps an eye on the creature appearing from behind the
bush.
1st May, 20h03 – The reason for the disruption is now evident
– Lions!

8th December, 01h34 – Elephant bull, quietly walking by.
12th December, 18h45 – baby Elephant, face down in the dirt!
14th December, 02h15 – a “small” herd visits the waterhole!
25th December, 19h04 – notice the big bull on the right of the
picture.
25th December, 19h04 – Elephant cow with calf in the foreground.
This cow is known to be very aggressive.
25th December, 19h04 – the large bull on the left is in “must”,
as can be seen by the discharge from his cheek glands.
25th December, 19h15 – young Elephant attempting to chase Baboons
from the waterhole.
25th December, 19h15 – you Baboons didn’t take my friend
seriously, but you’d better listen to me now - MOVE!!
